How Big Is This Fan?
Open: oversized 13 by 24.5 inches for maximum clack and airflow. Closed: 13 by 1 inch, slim enough to fit in most bags or purses.
Does This Fan Clack?
Yes. Every Daftboy fan uses real bamboo ribs with a riveted pivot, which is what produces the loud signature Thwoorp sound. The rivet keeps the snap crisp through repeated use, unlike glued or threaded pivots that loosen over time. Polyester fabric panels are full-color printed for vibrant designs.

I beat the hell out of my first SHADE fan. I only bought a new one because after years of abusont the first one at parties, raves, burns, concerts, etc the fabric was a little frayed at the edges so I replaced it so I have a fresh one for going out. The old one is still going strong, but now it’s a fan for beach trips and camping.
